Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos
The Narwal Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot vacuums and mops I've ever tested. Its base station comes with a large dustbin and water tank and its dual rubber brushes are less susceptible to hair tangles than single bristles.
Its mopping performance is excellent and its AI mapping excels at avoiding obstacles. It is also able to stop the cleaning process, and then resume from where it began.
1. Roomba Combo j9+
The Roomba Combo J9+ is a 2-in-1 robot mop and vacuum cleaner that is among the most sophisticated on the market. It features an elegant self-emptying Clean Base that can hold up to two full mopping cycles. It is even designed to look like a small table. It's also the sole robot mop we've tested with a water reservoir on board that automatically cleans and refills the pads for cleaning after each vacuum and mopping cycle.
The mopping arm is set in a discreet manner at the top of the unit. It lowers when it detects hard surfaces, and then starts to scrub. It moves slowly across surfaces to avoid spreading wet spills or mud on carpeted areas. It does a great job of staying away from furniture, cords and other obstacles.
It's smarter than most robot vacuums due to the iRobot Home app, which allows you to customize your cleaner's settings and prioritize rooms based on dirtiness setting cleaning schedules and times and much more. The app offers detailed maps of your home, seasonal suggestions, customized cleaning routines, as well as a variety of smart home integrations that are easy to use.
This combination robot vac and mop is based on iRobot's Imprint Smart Mapping technology to recognize objects such as sofas, counters, and tables. It can also be controlled by Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri to make cleaning your home hands-free.
Contrary to other mopping and vacuum robots that are available, the Roomba J9+ is able to create a complete map of your home seven times faster than previous models and labels each area by floor type, ensuring that it'll always remember to vacuum or mop where you want it. It also comes with the Turbo Mode which boosts suction in difficult areas. With iRobot's Dirt Detective it can analyze your habits of cleaning and adjust the cleaning priorities and settings to the most soiled areas of your home.
2. Yeedi M12 Pro+
The Yeedi M12 Pro+, with its user-friendly interface and features that are premium is a powerful competitor in the world automatic vacuum and mop robots. Its strong suction and ingenuous mopping technology make it an ideal cleaner for smart homes. Its smart automation and affordable price make it a good choice for households that are on a budget.
To begin using the M12 software, download and launch the Yeedi app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. After connecting the app will ask you to create a unique naming for your new robot. The M12 only supports 2.4GHz networks.
The M12 has a variety of cleaning modes for vacuuming and mopping. Its intelligent design lets the M12 identify a space within six minutes and then adjust its cleaning path accordingly. Its advanced mopping features include two spinning pads and electronically controlled water as well as a "True Edge" Adaptive Edge Mopping System that ensures a thorough cleaning of all edges.
In terms of navigation, the M12 uses LiDAR, IR, and 3D structured light to avoid obstacles. The sensors are capable of picking up larger objects such as HVAC vents and furniture. However, they can struggle with smaller objects, such as cables and small rags, which can cause the robot to miss certain spots.
The M12's built in inclinometer allows it to recognize and navigate up and down stairs. It can also automatically return to its OMNI station to wash and dry its mop brushes, and then refill its water tanks. If its batteries are low, the OMNI station can also automatically empty the bin of dust and clean itself.
3. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot cleaner is the cutting edge of robotic cleaning. It packs a wealth of features in a small package. It comes with a large mopping capacity and cameras to help it avoid obstacles. It also comes with a powerful vacuum that senses when it is sweeping over carpets. It also comes with advanced intelligence and voice assistant features.
It's a powerful vacuum and mop cleaner. It was able to complete our 1,500 square foot test area within 101 minutes, before the battery drained and it returned to its dock. The mop is washed between uses, a feature that reduces maintenance costs and helps keep its pads clean. In addition, there is a dock sensor that detects the moment that the mop's pad gets dirty and initiates a wash cycle to keep it clean.
The S8 MaxV Ultra, like its predecessors, has an intelligent system that can recognize household items like shoes and pet waste using cameras and LIDAR. It performed well in our test of obstacle avoidance, with only one hiccup during my tests (it was stuck when unwinding a wool ball that was tangled up around its brush arm).

The S8 MaxV Ultra features a suction power of 10,000pa, which is more than twice more powerful than its predecessor. This makes it an excellent choice for homes with a lot of carpeting and various kinds of flooring. The vacuum can be set to automatically increase suction as it passes over crumbs or dust.
Similar to previous models, there are multiple docking stations that can be installed in different rooms to make it easier to clean and mopping. It can also be connected to the plumbing of your home using a special docks that drain and refills the tank automatically after you've finished.

The mop pads are automatically cleaned in hot water and then drained, and the dirty water tank is emptied automatically after every cleaning session.
It comes with advanced options for customising the cleaning schedule, such as selecting a specific time to begin and end every cycle, or choosing whether it should vacuum carpets prior to mopping. It can be instructed to re-clean areas that are dirty and to increase suction around cat litter and pet food bowls. It can be programmed to automatically lift the front side brush when it detects wet areas, and clean up debris around corners and baseboards.
The X40 Ultra is easy to set up and use it, with a simple and intuitive application and a variety of features. It is quieter than other corded vacuums. The only sounds are occasional low hums from its motor, and brief moments of sucking when cleaning. Its navigation system, which uses a camera and 3D structured lights, multiple lasers, and a 3D structured light to locate and avoid obstructions it is awe-inspiring. This makes the X40 Ultra receive one of the highest scores in our evaluations for obstacles to avoid.
5. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is an extremely powerful vacuum and mop combination that has been developed to be user-friendly. Its gunmetal-colored base station self-emptying and fills its own tank with clean water. It automatically emptying the dust bin into a smaller container it washes and dry its own mop pad between cleaning sessions. It has advanced features that allow it to switch between carpets and hard surfaces, and eliminate pet hair from carpets, and clean raised room thresholds.
The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping capabilities, thanks to the internal dToF system. It can maintain an unobtrusive appearance while providing excellent object detection. It can drive close to walls and avoid steps without crashing. It also automatically raises the mop when driving on short-pile carpets. It was a bit shaky when it came across longer-pile carpets and also some thick, long messes with dried-on debris.
Like all robots, the S1 Pro comes ready to come out of the box and needs only the initial mapping run to figure out how it can navigate your home. Once it's done the map will be displayed in the app and rooms can be added or merged depending on the need. You can also set virtual boundaries as well as no-go zones or no-mop zones in case there's something you don't want your robot to touch.
The S1 Pro is a great option for homes with both types of flooring, because it can mop and vacuum. However the fact that it relies on an Eufy-branded cleaning system (which is included in the box) makes it less flexible than other robots that allow you to create your own solutions. Its ability to mop and vacuum is a great choice for homes that have two types of flooring. However, its reliance on Eufy cleaning solutions (which are included in the box), can make it less adaptable than other robots that permit you to include your own cleaning solutions.
